Apparently, poignant and beautiful musical ability runs in the Campbell family.

Ashley Campbell, daughter of legendary country singer Glen Campbell, released her debut music video for her song “Remembering” on Tuesday. The video features the young singer watching home videos and looking through photo albums of her and her father, which were also shown in the Oscar-nominated 2014 documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me. Towards the end of the video, Glen appears alongside his daughter.

The song is a devastating tribute to Glen Campbell and his battle with Alzheimer’s, which he was diagnosed with in 2011. It was reported in 2015 that the condition had worsened so much that Campbell could no longer speak for himself.

“I wanted to write something that expressed to my dad how much I wanted him to feel safe,” Ashley explained to Rolling Stone. “I wanted to let him know that he didn’t have to worry, that I’ll take care of him when he can’t take care of himself.”

“Remembering” is available for download on iTunes now.
