Animated feature film Planet Hulk will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD in February courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

Developed by Marvel Animated Features, the cartoon is based on the bestselling crossover comic series of the same name. It was originally written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Alex Ross in 2006.

The animation is said to remain true to the roots of its comic counterpart, following the Hulk as he takes on an entire alien planet after being banished from Earth. The DVD version will be available as a single disc release or two disc special edition.

Bonus materials bundled with the double disc and Blu-ray editions include audio commentaries, featurettes, music videos and two Marvel motion comics featuring the Hulk. A full episode of Wolverine And The X-Men, in which the character makes a guest appearance, is also enclosed.

Planet Hulk will be available from February 2.
