RIYADH: Muhammad Al-Amr has been appointed the new secretary-general of the Shoura Council. In a royal decree issued yesterday, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah made the appointment replacing Muhammad Al-Ghamdi.
Meanwhile, Prince Muhammad bin Naif, assistant minister of interior for security affairs, has appointed Maj. Gen. Suleiman Al-Amr as the deputy director general of the Civil Defense.
