1. Painful erection of the penis in association with gonorrhea or Peyronie disease, with curvature resulting from lack of distensibility of the corpora cavernosa of the urethra.
2. Ventral curvature of the penis, most apparent on erection, as seen in hypospadias due to congenital shortness of the ventral skin and, on rare occasions, in patients with a normally situated meatus.

chordee

Angulation of the penis, when erect, usually as a result of a patch of scar tissue on the undersurface, or from the congenital deformity of HYPOSPADIAS. Chordee can seriously interfere with sexual intercourse. See also PEYRONIE'S DISEASE.
