digital executor

A service that disposes of the digital assets of a person upon death. Digital assets include social networking data, photos, email history, blogs and other files stored locally and online. Similar to the executor of a regular last will and testament, the digital executor follows the wishes of the individual and distributes the assets to the beneficiaries by providing them with the necessary information. In addition, the executor may be instructed to delete files as well as post pre-written messages on various sites. See digital asset.
