The marker/drainage pipe from the pond makes a decent point break. Waves can vary but its generally better than the surrounding beaches. Wind direction will affect whether you want to be north of the pipe in Spring Lake or south in Sea Girt. Almost all of the Spring Lake beach can break decently. If the swell is big enough this spot will have enough in it to ride even during high tide.
Be aware during beach hours Spring lake side is no surfing body boarding ok and Sea girt is the opposite. They will come in after you if you body board on the Sea Girt side...
Route 71 through the center of seagirt to 1st. Right after you cross over the pond.
