SYLVANIA TWP., Ohio (WTVG) - Voters will decide whether to approve Issue 14 in November, and the township has scheduled informational meetings for those looking to learn more about the proposal.

The new levy would tack on an additional 2.5 mils, meaning an additional $175 dollars per year per $200,000 of home valuation.

Sylvania Township Fire leaders and Township personnel will be on hand to present information to the public at the Community Room of the Sylvania Library, 6749 Monroe St. on September 30 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

An additional session is scheduled for the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce Legislative Luncheon noon meeting on October 2.
