Alleged shooter arrested in August murder of Toledo man
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Detroit man accused of shooting and killing a 51-year-old Toledo man in August, is now in police custody, according to Lucas Co. Jail records.
Dujuan Clements, 38, of Detroit, Mich., was booked into the Lucas Co. Jail Thursday afternoon on a series of charges related to the shooting death of 51-year-old Dennis Bohlen.
On Aug. 19, police found 51-year-old Dennis Bohlen dead from a gunshot wound around 1:15 a.m. in the 800 block of Woodville Road, near the intersection of Forsythe and Woodville.
Officers were called out for a Shot Spotter alert and arrived to find Bohlen lying in the street. The coroner’s office said he died from multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.
Clements is set to face a judge later this morning. He faces the following charges:
- Two counts of Aggravated Murder
- Two counts of Murder
- One count of Felonious Assault
- One count of Kidnapping
- One count of Having Weapons While Under Disability
- One count of Discharging a Firearm On or Near Prohibited Premises
