Three teenagers charged after shooting in front of Toledo home
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Three teenagers are facing criminal charges after a shooting in front of a Toledo home that left one person with minor injuries.
Toledo Police officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 200 block of E. Pearl Street, near Lagrange Street, before 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 28. According to detectives at the scene, one person was grazed in the leg and was treated on scene by Toledo Fire and Rescue crews.
Officers determined the person who was injured, a 17-year-old, was involved in an ongoing dispute with two other people, leading to a shooting in front of the home, police reports said. 13 Action News crews at the scene saw at least 15 cones marking shell casings and five people in handcuffs on the front porch.
Police records said three other 17-year-olds were charged with Felonious Assault stemming from the incident. 13 Action News does not name minors accused of crimes unless the courts certify them as adults.
