All Tropical Storm Warnings have been cancelled for east central Florida. A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for the adjacent Atlantic waters of Volusia County and is expected to be discontinued later this afternoon or tonight. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Lake, Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Brevard and Osceola counties until 7 PM this evening. Local conditions will gradually improve tonight through Tuesday as the system slowly moves northeast, away from east central Florida. Gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall will remain the primary threats through tonight. Elevated seas, rough surf, and life-threatening rip currents are expected through tonight. POTENTIAL IMPACTS ----------------- * WIND: Gusty winds to 45 mph are possible through this evening, and a Wind Advisory remains in effect through 7 PM. * FLOODING RAIN: Localized flooding remains possible, especially where repeated rounds of rainfall occur. Ponding of water from earlier rainfall may take additional time to recede. * TORNADOES: Little to no additional impacts are anticipated at this time across East Central Florida. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS ---------------------------------- * OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION: Check on your neighbors. If necessary, help them connect with their points of contact.
