Labor's Uniform Name.

Prior to the Interstate Labor Con-
ference which met in Perth in June
last, the Labor Party in each of the six
States was officially known by a dif-
ferent name.

In Queensland it was the "Queens-
land Labor Party," in New South Wales
the "Political Labor League," in Vic-
toria the "Political Labor Council," in
Tasmania the "Workers' Political Labor
League," in South Australia the
"United Labor Party," and in Western
Australia the "Australian Labor
Federation."
