The transient is possibly associated with 2MASXJ17014976%2B3529154; a J=14.99 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/2MASS/PS1 catalogues. It's located 0.39 arcsec S, 3.75 arcsec E (6.3 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.106 implies a m - M = 38.46.
