The transient was discovered on 26th July 2019 at 10:06:54 (MJD 58690.42) by ZTF as ZTF19abiqnpv with a discovery magnitude of r = 19.48. It was subsequently classified as a SN Ib at z = 0.045.

Prediction: Supernova
