The transient was discovered on 25th March 2019 at 11:33:40 (MJD 58567.48) by ZTF as ZTF19aaniore with a discovery magnitude of r = 19.29. It was subsequently classified as a SN II at z = 0.030.

Prediction: Supernova

The transient is possibly associated with UGC10411; a J=12.04 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/2MASS/PS1 catalogues. It's located 5.05 arcsec N, 18.31 arcsec E (12.4 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.033 implies a m - M = 35.79.
