Wheelchair Service Training Package for Managers and Stakeholders
Overview
It is estimated that more than 70 million people worldwide require wheelchairs, yet only 5-15% of people have access. To address this, WHO has developed a series of Wheelchair Service Training Packages. The third in the series consists of two sub-packages: the Wheelchair Service Training Package for Managers (WSTPm) and the Wheelchair Service Training Package for Stakeholders (WSTPs). WHO recognizes that to develop effective and sustainable wheelchair service provision; managers and other stakeholders need to be aware of the importance and benefit of comprehensive wheelchair service provision.
