This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The fragmented slick was located at the southern end of Louisiana's Bird's Foot Delta. As a whole, the slicks were approximately 5.87 nm long and approx. 2.05 nm at its widest. There were white/shimmery centers seen throughout the slicks which indicated relatively thicker oil. It was distinguishable from natural phenomena and had strong contrast against the ocean background. Winds near the time of the image were coming from E at 16 kts which aligned well with the orientation of the slicks. UNCERTAINTIES: The point source was unknown but there were various oil wells within the vicinity.
