The comprehensive report highlights the department’s efforts over the past year to advance equitable development, support small businesses and expand access to safe, stable housing across the county.

This is a significant milestone and reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication of the entire team in maintaining and continually improving its emergency management practices.

Joining the county in 2009, Olson has served in a variety of progressive leadership roles, most recently as interim Community & Economic Development director since February 2024.
