Unauthorized Subscription Mailings
We have just learned that several companies have sent unauthorized
Autoweek subscription renewal mailings in May 2009. The mailing lists our
Autoweek name at the left and has “Notice of Renewal” in red in the upper right corner. The Total Amount requested was $89.95 for 26 issues.
The companies we have identified are listed below:
Do not purchase an Autoweek subscription through any of these companies – because
Autoweek has no connection with any of these companies and will not accept orders from any of them. Additionally, the price listed is substantially more than the subscription price available at
Autoweek.com.
- Magazine Billing Network or MBN (using an address in Reno, NV)
- Publishers Billing Center or PBC (using an address in Reno, NV)
- ABDI (using an address in Reno, NV)
- Circulation Billing Center or CBC (using an address in Reno, NV)
Authorized subscription renewals directly from
Autoweek will have your customer number as it appears on your mailing label and a return address in Detroit, Michigan.
We
do accept subscription orders through a small number of school-benefit programs and corporate subscription services.
If you have
any question about an offer or to check the current status of your subscription, please call us directly at 1-888-288-6954 or use the
Subscription Status area.
Abusive Telemarketing
Autoweek has also learned that some subscribers have been received calls from telemarketers misrepresenting themselves as
Autoweek employees in an attempt to sell or renew subscriptions. The telemarketers have been reportedly verbally abusive at times.
Do not order an
Autoweek subscription via a telemarketer. We are not conducting any telemarketing efforts at this time. Please provide us with any reply telephone numbers of telemarketers so we can identify the source of the calls.
Your Help is Needed
Please help us stop these unauthorized activities by contacting us at 888-288-6954 if you receive an unauthorized
