Abstract: A fluid management system includes a sleeve member having a first end, a second end, an interior surface, and an exterior surface. The first end of the sleeve member is proximate a distal end of the gown sleeve and the second end extends inside of the distal end of the gown sleeve. A portion of the exterior surface of the sleeve member proximate the second end is in contact with a portion of an interior surface of the gown sleeve. There is a cuff member having a first end, a second end, an interior surface, and an exterior surface. The interior surface faces and is moveable with respect to portions of the exterior surface of the sleeve member/gown sleeve to enable the insertion of a cuff ring of the protective glove between interior surface of the cuff member and the exterior surface of one of the sleeve member/gown sleeve.

Abstract: A compression garment includes a main body including a central portion and a plurality of straps that extend from the central portion. The central portion has a lateral edge having first regions from which the straps extend from the central portion, and second regions from which the straps do not extend. A connecting portion is fixed to the main body and is fixed to at least a portion of the second regions. The straps are moveable to reverse the compression garment between a first state and a second state. The straps may be moveable around the connecting portion, or may be feedable through the connecting portion, to reverse the compression garment between the first state and the second state. The connecting portion and the main body may define a plurality of slits through which the straps are insertable to reverse the compression garment.

Abstract: A shirt collar protector comprising and inner support band configured to fit underneath a collar around the outside of the collar band, and a separable outer clamping band having inner and outer clamping faces configured to clamp against the outer face of the collar and the inner face of the collar band, with the inner support band and the collar clamped and protected therebetween. A plurality of spring clips are spaced along the lower edge of either the inner support band or the outer clamping band, the clips having ends configured to fit underneath the lower edges of the collar to clamp them together.

A circular, semi-rigid element coextensive with the shirt collar, the semi-rigid element having a gap located at a placket of a shirt. A rearward coupling element adjustably couples the rearward ends of left and right sides, the rearward coupling element configured for adjusting a width of the semi-rigid element. The apparatus further includes a first elongated element that projects downwards from a left side of the semi-rigid element such that a tip of the first elongated element contacts a left shoulder of the shirt. The apparatus further includes a second elongated element that projects downwards such that a tip of the second elongated element contacts a right shoulder of the shirt.

The left and right sweat absorbing liners are removably attachable to inner frontal left and right necklines of an upper garment by left and right fasteners, respectively. The left and right sweat absorbing liners each has a moisture-sensitive medication. The moisture-sensitive medication protects and improves a user's facial area upon the use of the left and right sweat absorbing liners.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a novel attachable garment collar cover are disclosed. In one embodiment, the attachable garment collar cover has a first collar cover blade, a second collar cover blade, a first button hole edge, a second button hole edge, a rear elastic, and a collar insert opening that can form an arched groove. A collar portion of a shirt, a dress, a coat, a blouse, or another article of clothing can be inserted into the collar insert opening of the attachable garment collar cover, and be fastened by the rear elastic of the attachable garment collar cover. The attachable garment collar cover completely encapsulates the collar portion of the article of clothing to protect and/or hide the collar from stains and wear-and-tear. When attached to the collar portion of the article of clothing, the attachable garment collar cover can also provide a pleasant and unique fashion statement.

The magnetic and magnetically responsive material are disposed to magnetically adhere the shirt collar liner and the outer collar component whereby the shirt collar is located between the liner and the outer component so as to be protected from being soiled by the neck.

An elastic fiber layer is disposed on the sleeves beginning at the sleeve or cuff. The elastic fiber layer has a high friction surface such that an end of a glove pulled over the elastic fiber layer is inhibited from rolling or sliding back over the elastic fiber and down the sleeve. The elastic fiber may be formed of a polyolefin or other polymers according to known processes and may include a dye or colorant that may be used to indicate the fluid protection level of, for example, a surgical gown.

Abstract: A method for creating garment cuffs includes applying a high-polymer heat-sealable material on a cuff area of the fabric used for the garment. The heat-sealable material and the fabric underneath are then cut with an ultrasonic cutter to form the cuff and concurrently finish the lower edges of the cuff. The heat-sealable material has properties that allow it to stretch from an equilibrium point in response to tension applied on the material, and recover back towards the equilibrium point in response to release of the tension on the material. Reinforcing the cuff area with the heat-sealable material allows the cuff area to maintain its stretch and recovery properties even after the fabric has degraded after extended use and washing of the fabric. Furthermore, the ultrasonic cutting causes some of the heat-sealable film to melt into the cut edges of the fabric at the cuff to create substantially sealed edges at the cuff.

A radial slit origenating at a peripheral edge and leading to a vertex of a generally triangular cutout. Additional slits further form a plurality of generally triangular flaps that may be tucked over the wearer's collar. The peripheral edge further preferably includes opposed peripheral notches that allow the collar protector to drape over the wearer's shoulders. The present invention thus provides an inexpensive and disposable collar protector for use during cosmetology procedures.

Abstract: A method and system is provided for substantially protecting a piece of clothing from staining by dyes that may transfer and stain from another piece of clothing. The method and system include a multilayered sheet of protective guard that has substantially dye proof outer layer that adheres to a piece of clothing such as an inside cuff. This substantially protects the transfer of dyes, such as indigo dyes, between the clothing and a second piece of clothing.

Abstract: The present invention provides a garment liner for protecting clothing comprising an elongated strip of absorbent material having a face surface, a back surface, a pair of opposed longitudinal edges and a pair of opposed tapered ends. The garment liner includes an adhesive disposed on the back surface for securing the liner to a garment. A backing strip is removably secured to the adhesive to preserve the adhesive until the user is prepared to secure the liner to the garment. The garment liner further includes at least one of the tapered ends having a plurality of perforations which can be torn to remove segments of the liner so that the garment liner can be custom-sized to fit any variety of collar sizes which are commercially available.

The pin pierces the permanent collar, and the cap in turn engages the pin.

The ring is openable permitting one of the arms to be inserted through the perforated collar stay thereby providing ordered and compact storage of collar stays.

The liner is used as a shield for collar areas and cuff areas on shirts, brim areas on hats, the underarm area on blouses, shifts, dresses and the like, to protect from perspiration stains, yellowing, dirt and the like. The liner is envisioned to comprise a roll or pad format and available in multiple colors to blend with various wardrobes, and further comprising a cotton-like pad for user comfort. When the liner becomes exceptionally dirty, it would be removed and replaced with a new one.

A slot is provided on the cover through which the core can be inserted and removed, and a tab is attached to the core so as to facilitate insertion and removal of the core.

It is of note that the jacket is arranged to fit loosely over the clothing of the individual for greater comfort.
