Spermatozoidum[1] (a verbo Graeco σπέρμα sperma 'semen' + ζῷον zoon 'animans') vel spermatozoon[2][3][4] vel spermozoon[2] vel spermium[5] est cellula haploica propria maris reproductionis sexualis quae ovulo confunditur ad zygotum creandum. In mammalibus, chromosoma X vel Y ferre potest quae genus embryonis indicabunt.

Spermatozoida humana sunt piriformia, tantum calidis locis supervivunt et sunt solae quae flagellum habent, in cellulis humanis. Dividuntur praecipue in tribus partibus: caput, collum, et flagellum.
